Feng Yongjun is appointed as the editor-in-chief of Theory and Practice of Chinese Pedagogy (2709-7218). Feng Yongjun is a high-level talent of Shaanxi Normal University, a professor of the Faculty of Education/The Belt and Road Institute for Higher Education, a doctor of education at Xiamen University, a post-doctoral fellow in education at Beijing Normal University, and he has successively served as a visiting or exchange scholar at East China Normal University, National Academy of Education Administration, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc., visiting professor and master tutor at Tianjin University, special researcher at the Research Office of Yunnan Provincial People's Government, researcher at the Key Laboratory of National Education Informatization Ministry of Education, Doctoral supervisor of Stanford International University Thailand, project leader of China Higher Education Panel Survey (CHEPS), recipient of special talent allowance of Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, expert in evaluation and appraisal of National Social Science Fund, and the chief expert of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Higher Education Development Research Center, the source think tank of the China Education Think Tank Evaluation System (CETTE). He has been employed as the executive director or director of many national societies such as the National University Human Resource Management Professional Committee, and served as a specially invited reviewer for many SSCI and CSSCI journals. He used to be the executive vice president of iResearch Institute, executive director and chief expert of the university evaluation research team of iResearch China Alumni Association. He is currently the Dean of An bang China Academy of Evaluation and the Chief Knowledge Officer of the Evaluation Center of Anbang University, the co-founder of China University/Discipline/Professional Ranking (Ranking), such as QS, THEs, ARWU. He has been invited to give lectures in more than 100 "double first-class" colleges and universities or to provide consultation on medium and long-term development strategic planning. He has presided over 4 national-level projects, 3 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and 5 national-level research projects. The papers have been published in SSCI, SCI, CSSCI journals such as Frontiers in Psychology, Complexity, and Journal of Tsinghua University, or reprinted more than 150 papers by Academic Digest of Arts in Colleges and Universities, and Xinhua Digest. He has published more than 20 books such as Research Report on Evaluation of Chinese Universities in Science Press, etc., 5 consulting reports were approved by provincial and ministerial leaders, and he has won 5provincial and ministerial awards. The main research fields include educational history and culture, educational policy and evaluation, educational development strategic planning (university ranking), educational scientific research methods, and computational (quantitative) pedagogy.
