SFP welcomes researchers in various fields to appliy Special Issue (SI). SI generally solicits manuscrips around a certain kind of hot research hopics, and it is an effective method to convey the latest knowledge in a specific field to researchers and interested readers in a specific field. 

The manuscript collection time of each SFP SI is generally about 6-12 months. If there are more than 15  papers, SFP can publish one open-accessed book for the SI.

The guest editor of each SI is responsible for the review and decision of the manuscripts.

In 2024, all SIs will be published free of charge.
