Professor Xie Hualin is appointed as the editor-in-chief of SFP's journal Frontiers of Chinese Land Sciences (2709-7234). Xie Hualin is a professor (second-level) of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, a doctoral supervisor, a post-doctoral cooperative supervisor, a candidate for the National Ten Thousand Talents Project, a young top-notch talent in the national “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions to the state, and enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council. He is currently the dean of the Ecological Civilization Research Institute of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and the director of the Jiangxi Provincial Ecological Civilization System Construction Collaborative Innovation Center. He has published more than 200 academic papers in journals such as Land Use Policy, Land Degradation & Development, Landscape Ecology, Science of the Total Environment, Habitat International, Energy Policy, Journal of Cleaner Production, Ecological Indicators, Journal of Rural Studies, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Geographical Sciences, Geography, and Chinese Journal of Natural Resources, among which more than 70 are included in SCI/SSCI. More than 10 academic books have been published. He has won the first prize of provincial and ministerial level awards 1 time and the second prize 4 times. He presided over 1 key project of the National Social Science Foundation of China and 5 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research interests include land use, resource and environmental policy, and land resource management.
