  Professor Li Wenlong is appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Frontiers of Chinese Mechanical Engineering and Technology

Professor Li Wenlong is appointed as the editor-in-chief of the SFP’s journal Frontiers of Chinese Mechanical Engineering and Technology (2708-6860). Li Wenlong is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He was awarded the Young Scholars of the “Changjiang Scholars Program” of the Ministry of Education, the Hubei Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund, and the National Hundred Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award. In 2004, he graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. In 2010, he received his Ph.D. from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2012, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow and taught in the university. The main research direction is on-line measurement of complex parts and robotic processing. He presided over the National 973 Project, National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Aerospace Technology Research and Development Project, etc., and published more than 40 papers in IEEE Proceedings, PR, MST, Chinese Journal of Science, and Mechanical Engineering, etc. He has written 1 book, authorized more than 30 invention patents and declared copyrights, and his research results have been successfully applied in the precision inspection and robotic processing of large and complex parts in aerospace, automobile, and nuclear power.
