Song Xiaoqing, is the Vice Dean, Professor, and Doctoral Advisor of the School of Geography and Information Engineering at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). In additon, he is alos a visiting Scholar at the University of Hamburg in Germany, Member of the China Europe Land and Soil Working Group, Member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Land Economics and the Chinese Society of Land, and Youth Editorial Committee of Economic Geography and Tropical Geography. His research mainly focused on the transformation of the human land system, urban-rural spatial governance, and multi-functional utilization of land. He received the Youth Science and Technology Award from the Chinese Society of Natural Resources.
