Professor Dai Shuanping is appointed as the editor-in-chief of Journal of Chinese Economy (2708-6909). He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Economics of Jilin University, and a researcher of the China State-owned Economy Research Center of Jilin University, a key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. He is also a visiting professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany and a part-time researcher at the University of Navarra in Spain. He was a professor at the Mercator School of Management at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany (2014-2020). He has long been engaged in research on development economics, industrial policy, and innovation economics. He also served as the founding associate editor of Springer Nature: Business and Economics, and editorial board member of the Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies. He is the director of the Eurasian Management Society and the Chinese Society of Technical Economics. His academic papers won the Best Paper Award of the International Open Innovation Conference. He has published more than 40 articles in domestic and foreign academic journals such as Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, and Journal of Asian Economics. Two academic books, including Networks of Institutions (2015) and China’s Quest for Innovation (2019), have been published by Routledge.
