  Publishing Mission and Value

Science Footprint Press (SFP) is committed to the publishing of Chinese and English books in the categories of Science, Engineering, and Technology.

SFP books are all published in open-access format. We believe that traditional book publishing hinders the free flow and access of scientific research information to some extent in fact, and increases the cost of readers' immediate access to scientific research information, and also leads to restricting the transmission of research achievements of manuscript. authors. The open-access publication of the manuscript means that after the authors pay a certain BPC (Book Processing Charges), they can follow the Creative Commons BY for publication, and others have free and unrestricted access to SFP publications.

In addition, SFP has no word count requirements and restrictions on manuscripts. In scientific research practice, there are often problems that some project research reports have difficulties to be published in traditional publishers due to word count constraints, many of the content of the research report cannot be effectively transmitted on the premise of guaranteeing the authors' intellectual property rights. The SFP is able to address these problems in the form of an open-access book publication. Open-access published manuscripts are not limited to word count with regular ISBN and DOI numbers. After publication, readers can obtain and quote books for free, so as to achieve the goal of not only protecting the authors' intellectual property rights, but also forming the extensive transmission of various research results.

The SFP focuses highly on the publication of the atlas. Traditional atlas publishing is time-consuming and laborious with a long publishing cycle and a high publishing cost. As a registered publisher in Hong Kong, SFP can help scientific researchers in need to achieve atlas publishing at a lower cost and faster speed by a quick map review and open-access publishing electronic atlas. SFP is expected to publish the atlas within two months.

The SFP promises not to make any revenue from the book release, while reducing BPC to a very low level to help researchers achieve the rapid and extensive transmission of research achievements.
